Type: Peanut Butter Granola Free Cooking Recipe – Breakfast


Ingredients / Directions
1 cup(s) raisins
2/3 cup(s) creamy peanut butter
2/3 cup(s) honey
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
4 cup(s)s oatmeal
1/2 cup(s) dried figs
1 cup(s) shelled peanuts Pour boiling water over raisins to cover; let stand 10 minutes; drain.

In saucepan
combine peanut butter
honey and cinnamon; heat through. Remove from heat; stir in vanilla extract.

Place oats in large shallow roasting pan or 15 x 10 x 1-inch baking pan. Pour warm peanut butter mixture over oats and stir gently until all the mixture is coated; spread evenly in pan. Bake at 300 degrees F for 35 to 40 minutes
stirring occasionally. Turn off oven; stir in raisins
figs and nuts. Let dry in oven 1 1/2 hour(s)
stirring occasionally.

Store in covered containers.

Makes 8 cup(s)s.
