1/2 gallon vanilla ice cream, divided in half
1/2 cup sugar
1 large container frozen whipped topping, thawed
30 cups brewed cold coffee
1 liter bottle cola (not the more common 2 liter size)
About 30 minutes before serving time, cut one of the halves of ice cream into chunks, let partially melt in punchbowl. When ready to serve, add whipped topping, sugar and coffee. Mix well. Add remaining ice cream in scoops. Gradually add cola, stir.
Yields about 70 half-cup servings.
