ITALIAN COOKIES

4 cups flour
1 cup olive oil (must use olive oil)
2 cups sugar
3 tbsps baking POWDER
2 tbsps lemon (grated)
2 tbsps orange (grated)
2 tsps vanilla
6 eggs
ICING:
2 pound bag of powdered sugar
Milk or water
1 jar non-parells candy sprinkles
Mix all dough ingredients together until cookie dough is not sticky- keep
adding flour as needed. Preheat oven at 325 degrees lightly grease cookie
sheet. Cut cookies dough into strips and roll into snake-like shapes, form
into turban-like shape and place on greased cookie sheet. Bake until lightly
browned (about 10-12 min). Let cookie cool completely. While cookies are
cooling mix icing by pouring powdered sugar and milk or water into a bowl. Mix
until smooth, but not too thin or thick. Pour icing over cookies and spinkle
with candy. Makes about 4 dozen great for Christmas parties.
