gorgonzola and mascarpone sauce

Salsa di mascarpone e gorgonzola

50g butter

2 tablespoons finely chopped marjoram.

Oregano or basil leaves

250g mascarpone cheese

150g Gorgonzola cheese

sea salt and freshly ground black pepper

Gently melt the butter in a saucepan do not let it brown and add the herbs.

Add the mascarpone and Gorgonzola and warm through very gently until melted.

Season with salt and pepper.

Note:

400g Torta di Dolcelatte or Torta di Gorgonzola can be substituted for the mascarpone and Gorgonzola.
