peaches in marmalade sauce
4 large ripe peaches peeled halved and stoned
4 tablespoons orange jelly marmalade
40g butter
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
2 tablespoons blanched almonds
Arrange the peach halves cut sides up in a shallow baking dish.
Melt the marmalade butter and cinnamon together in a saucepan then pour the sauce over the peaches.
Scatter with the nuts.
Cover with foil and cook in a preheated oven (180c/350f/gas4) for 35 minutes.
Serve hot with chilled whipped cream.
Serves 4
