Oatmeal Pie III
Oatmeal Pie tastes like pecan pie.
Ingredients:
4 eggs
1 cup coconut
1 1/2 cups dark corn syrup
1 1/2 cups white sugar
1/2 cup margarine, melted
1 3/4 cups oatmeal
1 3/4 cups evaporated milk
2 9-inch pie shells
crushed nuts (optional)
Directions:

Mix eggs, corn syrup, and sugar. Add milk, melted margarine, coconut,
and oatmeal. Pour into two 9-inch pie shells.

Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) until brown. Sprinkle with nuts
before baking if desired.
Makes 2 -9 inch pies
