1/2 cup(s) butter
1 cup(s) granulated sugar
2 cup(s)s all-purpose flour
4 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup(s) milk
8 cup(s)s cherry pie filling
1/2 cup(s) granulated sugar Coat a 9 x 13-inch baking dish with cooking spray.
With an electric mixer
cream the butter and sugar.
In a separate bowl
combine flour
baking powder and salt. Add to butter mixture alternating with the milk; mix until well combined. Spread batter evenly into prepared pan. Top with filling and sprinkle with sugar. Cover and freeze.
To bake: Thaw completely in refrigerator. Bake at 375 degrees F for 40 minutes or until browned.
Serves 6 to 8 generous portions.
