Dutch Apple Pie

This pie is baked in a brown grocery sack, and is so delicious.

Ingredients:

8 – 10 small or 4 – 6 large Granny Smith apples

1/2 cup white sugar

2 tablespoons all-purpose flour

1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

2 tablespoons lemon juice

1/2 cup white sugar

1/2 cup all-purpose flour

1/2 cup butter or margarine

1 unbaked pie crust

Directions:

Peel and core the apples. Cut them into eighths, and place into crust.

Combine 1/2 cup sugar, 2 tablespoons flour, and cinnnamon. Pour over

apples in crust. Sprinkle lemon juice on top.

Cut 1/2 cup sugar, 1/2 cup flour, and 1/2 cup butter or margarine

together, and top pie with the mixture.

Place pie in a brown paper bag, and seal.

Bake at 450 degrees F (230 degrees C) for 1 hour. Serve warm, or at

room temperature.

Makes 1 – 9 inch pie
