vinaigrette
1/4 cup olive oil
4 tablespoons white wine vinegar cider vinegar or tarragon vinegar 1 teaspoon clear honey
2 tablespoons chopped mixed herbs eg mint parsley chives thyme
1 garlic clove minced
salt and pepper
Beat the oil with the chosen vinegar honey herbs garlic and salt and pepper to tacte until well blended. Alternatively place all the ingredients in a screwtop jar and shake vigorously to combine well before using.
Serve this classic dressing with a classic tomato cucumber and onion salad and garnish with chopped parsley
