Holiday Party Treats

Materials:

candy dish mold

1 cup sugar

2 Tbsp. water

4 cups of nuts

balloon

8 broken chocolate bars

chocolate

1/4 lb. butter

1/8 tsp. lecithin

crushed pretzels

white confectioner coating

Steps:

Tulip Bowl

Blow up balloon twice before tying it.

Melt chocolate in microwave at 45 second intervals until melted.

Take balloon out and roll it in the melted chocolate from north to south, then east to west.

Lift the balloon out of the chocolate and place on waxed paper. Place into a refrigerator for approximately seven to 10 minutes.

Once the bowl has hardened, hold the top of the balloon between two fingers then cut the balloon with scissors, letting the air out slowly until the balloon releases from the bowl. Set the bowl aside, allowing it to cure for a few hours before filling.
