alcoholic picnic drink
2 lengths cucumber peel
2 pieces of orange peel pith removed
2 sprigs borage
1 tbsp caster sugar
4fl oz brandy
2 bottles aligote or muscadet chilled
soda water
ice
Macerate the first five ingredients for half an hour then add the wine.
When serving pop two ice cubes into a glass pour in the wine halfway and top up with soda.
For this to work on a picnic youll need a bottle cooler.
