russian stroganoff
40g fillet steak
50g finely chopped onions
2 large gherkins chopped
70ml double cream
5 large mushrooms
40g butter
brandy
red wine
paprika
rice
slice fillet into strips and sprinkle with paprika
slice the mushrooms into small strips
mix onions and mushrooms together and season with pepper and salt
melt the butter in a small pan and seal the fillet
add the mushrooms and onions allow to sweat then add chopped gherkins
pour in a measure of brandy and flame
add glass of red wine and reduce
add double cream
serve on bed of rice
