1/2 cup butter
1/3 cup sugar
1 egg yolk
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup flour — unsifted
1/2 teaspoon salt
Apricot Puree
1/3 cup dried apricot halves
1/3 cup sugar
Mix butter, sugar, egg yolk, and vanilla together. Sift together the Flour
and the salt and add to the butter mixture. Make into balls (30 – 36). Dip
into egg white and chopped nuts. Put on greased baking sheet and push indent
in each ball. Bake at 300
