Cooking receipe to make Tuna Dip Bread Basket under category Christmas Recipes. You may find some video clips related to this receipe below.
Take a round loaf of brown bread and slice of the top third of the loaf. Cut two holes in this top piece so it looks like it has a handle in the middle. Pull chunks of bread from the inside of the loaf until there is ony a thin shell about 1/2 inch thick.
Tuna Dip
2-6oz. cans chunk light tuna
1 package cream cheese
2 Tbsp. lemon juice
1 Tbsp. onion powder
1 Tbsp. paprika
1 Tsp. garlic powder
1 Tsp. lemon pepper
3 shakes of Louisiana hot sauce
Drain tuna, mix in cream cheese. Beat or whip together until creamy. Add spices, lemon juice, and hot sauce. Spoon mixture into bread shell and chill. You can also add 1/2 pound of shredded cheddar to the dip.
Spoon dip onto bread morsels and enjoy! We started having this every year when Mom realized we were spending too much time preparing the meal and not
enough time enjoying ourselves.
